His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and large language models (LLMs). His authored and co-authored work has been published through IEEE Xplore and Springer, spanning machine learning for epilepsy risk prediction, natural language processing for identifying harmful online comments, and the role of social media in organizing social movements in Bangladesh. Badar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Leading University, Sylhet, graduating with a final CGPA of 3.91 out of 4.00. During his time at university, he also took on leadership roles within campus community and research organizations, including a Secretary General position and front-end development work for the IEEE LU Student Branch Chapter.
